You only pay for the points you give to customers — there’s no monthly subscription, licence fee or long-term contract. Choose a points package that works for your business, set your own rewards and tap minimum, and use your points to reward customers whenever they spend with you. FAQ

When do I get paid?
The last Tuesday of every month, payments are processed — your redemptions are paid out from that month. Payments take 3–5 working days to reach your account.
Who pays for the rewards?
We do. When a customer redeems a reward at your business, we pay you 100% of the reward’s retail value. You keep the sale.
My application got rejected. What do I do?
We accept applications from businesses that we believe will benefit SheffPoints users by offering a wide range and balanced eco-system of all types of businesses.
Do I need an app?
No. Customers use Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. There’s nothing to download.
How much does it cost?
We charge for a bank of points, which you give out to customers who earn through spending with you. There is no monthly fee, and you can stop or switch at any time. Get in touch with one of our team to find out more.
Does this replace my existing loyalty scheme?
It can, but it doesn’t have to. You can use the network alongside an existing loyalty programme, or use it as your main loyalty scheme.
What hardware do I need?
Nothing. We use open banking infrastructure from Yapily to securely access transaction data, allowing us to identify eligible spending without changing the way you take payments.
How do customers earn points?
Customers earn points by spending with participating SheffPoints businesses. Each business sets its own earning rate, so you can choose an offer that makes sense for your business and stay competitive.
How long does setup take?
We are currently accepting registrations for the October intake. New businesses get added every week — so you won’t be waiting more than 7 days, if your application is accepted.
